Trade Compliance Manager l Limburg

You’ve spent your career learning about the complexities of trade compliance & export controls so that you can one day leverage it when it matters.

We’re working with an incredibly complex global manufacturer that has an opportunity for you to test your knowledge, show what you can do, and build your career in a business that has always invested heavily in trade compliance.

You’ll be at the forefront of ensuring Belgian operations align with export control regulations, making a tangible impact in a business that truly values compliance as a strategic priority.

And working with dual-use products, you’ll play a critical role in navigating Belgium’s export licensing processes. From identifying licensing requirements to making applications and ensuring every shipment meets regulatory standards, you’ll be the trusted expert in a high-responsibility role.

What else can this role offer you?
  • Career Growth and Development – This is an environment that fosters continuous improvement and invests in your professional journey. With a structured performance management system and access to mentorship programs, you have clear pathways to expand your skills and progress in your career.
  • Recognition & Respect – Trade compliance is a highly valued function within this organisation. Leadership actively supports and invests in the team, ensuring you have the resources and backing to excel.
  • A Strategic Role with Global Reach – While focused on Belgium’s regulations, this role offers exposure to the complexities of global trade compliance. It’s a chance to sharpen your expertise in a business that operates on a global scale while allowing you to own and influence a vital area of compliance.
  • Flexibility to Suit Your Needs – A hybrid working model that allows you to work 1 days per week in the office (or 3x per month).

This position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of dual-use export controls and Belgian licensing processes. Familiarity with Belgium’s SGCD Digital Portal and experience in managing export compliance within SAP GTS will enable you to hit the ground running and deliver immediate value but, equally, this business is open to working with you if there are skills gaps – so don’t worry if you don’t have this!

You’ll need to be fluent Dutch / Flemish in order to take on this role.
