A well-known international entertainment group is looking for an experienced Head of Tax to lead its UK, Ireland, and US tax function on a part-time basis. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership, shape the group’s tax strategy, and make a real impact – all while enjoying a flexible working pattern.

The Role

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you’ll be accountable for tax compliance, reporting, and governance across multiple jurisdictions, while also influencing strategy and driving improvements in the group’s tax function.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Corporate Tax Compliance: Lead UK and international compliance across multiple jurisdictions

✅ Tax Reporting: Prepare disclosures for the annual report and maintain accurate tax ledgers

✅ Cash Tax Forecasting: Oversee quarterly payments and develop robust forecasts

✅ VAT & Governance: Manage UK VAT and ensure compliance with SAO/CCO frameworks

About You:

✅ ACA, ACCA, and/or CTA qualified with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience

✅ Strong expertise in corporate tax, with working knowledge of VAT and employment duties

✅ Confident communicator, able to influence senior stakeholders and manage external partnerships

✅ Commercially aware with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
