Join this leading law firm as their newest Trusts and Tax Manager in Guildford, working within one of the top Private Client teams in the UK. You’ll stand out as an accounting whiz within a firm of legal professionals, benefitting from the infectious team ethos and all the resources a full-service, international law firm can offer.

As a firm with a reputation for extensive staff tenure and a culture of camaraderie to match, they hope to welcome an individual with a goal of real career longevity in mind. You’ll be working primarily from their Guildford office, with the scope to work partially from another office location. All the while, you’ll benefit from their 50/50 hybrid working policy.

Working within a team of 6, you will be supporting the 3 main groups within this firm’s private client team that consist of 46 fee earners, working with a high and ultra-high net worth client base. In addition to the above, you’ll receive a bounty of benefits in the form of your colleagues, from absorbing the wisdom of directors who have advanced from graduate status to honing your management skills as you supervise trainees.

You will ideally have some of the following qualifications, or be working towards them:

• ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA, or STEP.

A rudimentary breakdown of your responsibilities:

• 30% advisory
• 30% supportive advisory work for colleagues
• 40% compliance, including the supervision of trainees

You may have gained experience from the following:

• Accountancy practices
• Law firms
• Fiduciary services
