This is a superb opportunity for a Credit Control Assistant to join a busy and very successful finance team in Rochester.

You will be joining on a 12-15 month fixed-term basis, which may be extended a little longer for the perfect candidate (subject to business needs).

This position could suit either an experienced Credit Controller or even potentially someone who’s had a taste of a finance/ Credit Control role (possibly studying an AAT) and looking to gain further experience.

The key duties from the off, will include…

  • Cash Allocation
  • Banking of Cheques
  • Raising pro-forma invoices
  • Chasing outstanding customer balances by letter, email and phone
  • Sales Ledger Administration

The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Have a strong academic background
  • Have a passion for finance
  • Have at least some strong experience of finance admin and/or Credit Control
  • Be available to start a new role immediately
  • Have experience of using Excel

In return, the successful candidate will receive:

  • 30 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holiday)
  • A 37.5 hour working week

  • 1 day home-working per week
