Alex Mann joins the Harvey John board as Director

Harvey John is delighted to announce the promotion of Alex Mann to Director.

Alex joined Harvey John in October 2014 as a graduate. He quickly established himself as a talented and innovative recruiter in the accountancy and finance sector.

Alex believed there was scope to create a specialist tax recruitment division within the company, and he headed up the new venture. It has proven to be an outstanding success and Harvey John is now recognised as a leading EMEA tax recruiter. The tax team has grown rapidly and is now looking to expand further.

For Managing Director, David Waddell, the promotion to board member was the next logical step for Alex.

What Alex has achieved over the past 6.5 years is truly outstanding. Joining the business in 2014 as a Loughborough Masters graduate and new to recruitment, he has risen through the ranks in a reasonably short period of time.

Alex is the full package. Not only is he a consistent biller with an excellent track record, he demonstrates, on a daily basis, his engaging and supportive management style, and he introduces new initiatives to support the ongoing development and growth of the business. He has an unwavering commitment to the industry we work in and the sector he represents.

I’m incredibly excited to take on this new role with Harvey John. 

Since joining the business less than seven years ago, I still reflect on how fortunate I am that my first job out of university has been with a company that I totally bought into and am passionate about. As a recruiter, I know first hand that many people never experience this, let alone as a graduate going into their first ‘real’ job.
