US/UK Tax Manager

As a dual-handler, sometimes it can feel like there are only a few firms to choose from.

However, this is not the case! Over the last few years, this area has grown massively.

As a result, this is an advert for two roles, both in great firms with totally different offerings.

The question is, would you prefer to work in a Big 4? Or would you like to join a Top 50 that has a boutique feel?
Whats the difference?

In the Big 4 role, you’ll have a smaller portfolio, with a focus on high profile clients that qualify as ultra-high-net-worth.

The compliance work on this portfolio, is largely outsourced to another UK office, which means your role will be predominantly advisory based.

You’ll be in one of the largest US/UK teams in the UK.

In the Top 40, your clients will be a little more balanced. You’ll have access to impressive high-net-worth-clients, but you’ll also have the opportunity to work with mid-market clients.

Your role will be a mix of advisory, overseeing compliance, providing technical assistance across the team and direct management/mentor-ship.

Your team will be all under one roof, so whilst its a smaller team nationally, its a larger team locally.
