Senior Tax Accountant, Hybrid

A concern we hear regularly from those in professional services, looking to make their first in-house move, is the potential lack of variety in the role. That might be the case for some positions, but when we consider a FTSE 100 business, with operations in both UK and internationally, then it’s a different matter altogether!

This is a 9-month FTC for the time being. There is a 99% chance that this will be made permanent, with approval for this on the horizon.

We’re partnered with a multi-billion dollar turnover business that is looking to hire into their tax and financial accounting team, based in Colchester. You’ll be working with a supportive team, where you’ll be working on corporate tax compliance, ad-hoc tax advisory work, and integration projects.

It’s a business that nurtures talent, and actually seeks those looking to progress. Do you want to develop direct reports? You can. Do you want to know how to reach Manager? You’ll be given the stepping stones of how to do so.

What do I need?

ACA, ACCA or CTA qualification is essential, but you do not need to have had experience in all areas of the role, apart from corporate tax compliance. If you tick the box in any of the areas below, it would be great to chat! Development and training form the cornerstones of the team, and you’ll be supported through new experiences. Your ideas for changing and growing the division are also welcomed.
