Semi Senior Accountant | Shoreham

We have a great new opportunity for a Semi Senior Accountant to join a well established firm of Chartered Accountants in Shoreham-By-Sea, West Sussex. If you have a some experience in accountancy practice and are now looking for a long term career move in a friendly environment this could be the role for you.

This position will provide plenty of variety, you will work closely with the managers to look after a range of clients and be responsible for accounts preparation, bookkeeping and management accounts .You would be the first “port of call” with accounts questions and will deal with the clients directly on the phone and face to face. You would also train clients on Bookkeeping software.

What we’re looking for:

• Recent experience of accounts production gained in an accountancy practice
• AAT qualified, ACCA/ACA part qualified
• Hands on attitude, with plenty of initiative and strong customer focus
• Sage/Xero/Quickbooks knowledge
• Payroll/corporate and personal tax experience would be useful, but not essential

The firm will provide a training package for either ACCA or ACA, and you will gain great hands on experience to develop your skills and progress your career.
