Private Client Tax Senior l Horsham

We are recruiting for an experienced Private Client Tax Senior in the Horsham area, West Sussex.

Our client is a long established and well known firm of chartered accountants with offices across the South East. They have a reputation as an excellent employer and have seen significant growth over the last few years. They are now looking for a Private Client Tax Senior to join their friendly and highly skilled team in Horsham.

Joining the firm as Private Client Tax Senior you will have personal responsibility for looking after a portfolio of retirees, directors of owner-managed businesses, property clients, wealthy individuals and overseas clients. You will allocate and review work of junior team members, prepare more complex returns, liaise closely with clients and support managers and partners in a range of ad-hoc work. While the role will be largely focused on compliance, there is plenty of scope to gain exposure to tax advisory work as well.

About you:

• Solid experience of private client tax compliance work
• Maybe ATT qualified, studying CTA, or QBE
• Previous experience of managing a client portfolio
• Organised, proactive, detail minded
• Looking for a varied busy role, as part of a supportive and diverse team

Our client is offering an excellent salary and benefits packages including study support towards CTA if desired. The role can be full or part time, but you would need to work at least 25 hours each week. Although the role is based in Horsham, there is an element of working from home, probably 2 days per week.
