A well-established, modern accountancy practice with a long and rich history based in Reading is looking for a Tax Manager to join their team. This firm has become a flagship office for Berkshire within it’s group, offering a wealth of expertise to their clients and continuing to grow year on year developing this client offering.

They are in search of Personal Tax Manager to fill a vital position within their firm from February 2024. As the Personal Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include managing a substantial portfolio of tax returns, and reviewing those prepared by other members of the team. The client base you’ll work with primarily comprises High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI), landlords, and those with sole tax returns. You’ll be producing and offering advise on a wide range of topics, including Capital Gains Tax (CGT), let properties, Inheritance Tax (IHT), non-domicile and other areas of tax advisory work. This is firm that knows there is more advisory work within their portfolio and is looking for an individual who has experience in identifying and supporting clients in a wide range of areas. They also offer opportunities in probate work and the resulting tax implications, although experience in this area is not required.
