Head of Treasury

A leading, Middle Eastern based international bank is looking to recruit a Head of Treasury with the ability to develop and deliver a successful Treasury function in line with the Bank’s overall strategy.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing a strategy for Treasury in line with the Bank’s overall strategy
• Manage and optimise the liquidity of the Bank
• Manage the market risk of the business
• Control the use of derivatives in the business
• Execute bond, foreign exchange, money market and derivative transactions
• Promote the sale of foreign exchange, derivatives and other Treasury products
• Ensure Treasury’s adherence to all internal standards and guidelines and external regulations
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Contribute to the overall management of the Bank

Requirements

• Extensive Bank Treasury experience
• Regional banking exposure
• Strong Treasury trading background
• Middle East based, no remote working
