Financial Accountant l Essex

Harvey John are partnered with a prestigious company based in Colchester, Essex, on sourcing a Financial Accountant role which is guaranteed to utilise your technical expertise.

Just a 10 minute walk from Colchester train station, this newly-created job as a Financial Accountant will offer you exposure to the varied affairs of a hugely successful enterprise, including an array of global revenue streams and exciting industries. Reporting into the Senior Financial Accountant, you will have a strong focus on statutory accounting and share scheme reconciliations for around 150 EMEA companies.

To succeed in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong knowledge of Financial Accounting best practices, processes and technology. You will have experience in a similar role, or be making a first move from an accountancy practice. The ability to manage your own deadlines and priorities, whilst providing occasional input in the development of junior members, is essential.

Your package will include: a salary of £48,000 – £53,000, hybrid working with 2 days in the Colchester office per week, money purchase pension scheme & life assurance, 25 days annual holiday (increasing to 27 days after 2 years), a Share Incentive Plan and more.
