Employment Tax Manager
It has never been better to work in Employment Taxes.
It’s an area that has grown massively over the last few years, with no signs of slowing.
Why not take advantage of a strong market?
This is an advert for a role in The Big 4, Top 10 or Top 30.
Why Big 4?
You’ll be able to carve out your niche specialism – become a subject matter expert.
Specifically, the need is around reward/remuneration. You’ll help clients to structure, design and implement their policies.
This will include a variety of options, with share plans and cash incentives proving the most popular.
You’ll be working with prestigious clients, and will be able to progress at a fast pace.
Why Top 10?
This is an option to specialise, whilst retaining a degree of generalism.
You’ll have the choice of two areas: share plans/incentives or UK domestic employment tax but will find some flexibility on the work you can carry out.
Your portfolio will still have prestigious clients, but you also have access to the mid-market.
The team is both established and developing. This means that you’ll have more opportunities to influence the future of the team as you progress.
Why Top 30?
You might not want to specialise, but at the same time you don’t want to be one of the only Employment Tax specialists – This is role is the best of both worlds.
You’ll be able to work across the whole spectrum of UK employment tax, and will be part of team that has a national and international presence that means work is still won from larger firms.
You’ll be in a large team, but not as large as a Big 4 or Top 10. For many, this makes them feel more connected to the team and culture of the firm.
