Assistant Accounts Manager

We’re recruiting for a qualified and experienced practice accountant to join this growing chartered accountancy firm in West Sussex as an Assistant Accounts Manager.

Are you qualified (ACA / ACCA) , have experience within a general practice role and now you’re looking to develop your skills and advance your career new environment? Based in an easily accessible location in the Horsham area, West Sussex, you’ll be joining a fast-growing, modern, and ambitious accountancy firm. They already have an established and highly skilled team but are looking for an additional manager to join them as they grow.

Working with a varied and interesting client portfolio of corporate and not-for-profit clients, your new job will cover accounts, audit, and associated tax work as well as being responsible for overseeing the work of more junior members of the team. In this client-facing role, you’ll be encouraged to use your own initiative and develop your management skills with the opportunity for rapid career progression.

The firm is based in lovely, modern offices in the Horsham area. They offer an excellent salary and benefits package, flexibility, and a great working environment.

What we’re looking for:

• ACA or ACCA-qualified
• A strong general practice background, and audit experience would also be of benefit but not essential
• Ideally some experience in managing your own clients
• Strong technical skills, ambitious and highly motivated
• Committed to providing the highest levels of client service
