Accelerating Action: What International Women’s Day means to us

Since its inception in the last century, most of us have likely come across International Women’s Day in our lifetimes, whether in the form of a social media post, an office lunch with your colleagues, or a gathering with your social circle—all in celebration of women.

However, this year’s campaign theme, Accelerating Action, strikes a different chord.

If the current rate of progress continues, it will take until the year 2158 to reach full gender parity. This year’s theme highlights that, while celebration is encouraged, we need to do more to underpin the work of women. Which is why…

We hold an important position that bears weight in terms of improving the above statistics. In providing candidates and making placements, we are directly affecting the trajectory of gender parity in the workplace.
