Our client is hiring a US-based Tax Transformation Director to help build a smarter, more scalable, technology-enabled tax organisation. You’ll work closely with US Tax, Technology, and senior leaders to deliver solutions that improve efficiency, insight, and advisory value. This is a confidential role with significant influence and visibility.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and deliver a clear tax transformation roadmap focused on high-impact initiatives.
• Partner with technology and analytics teams to introduce automation, AI, and data-driven insights.
• Streamline and standardise tax processes to improve accuracy, scalability, and workflow efficiency.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation to ensure alignment and smooth adoption of new ways of working.
• Support and coach team members, helping elevate technical skills and strategic thinking.

About You

• 10+ years’ experience in tax transformation/technology and tax compliance/advisory.
• Broad US tax generalist experience across federal and state tax areas.
• Strong understanding of automation, analytics, workflow technologies, and process optimisation.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects, manage change, and work with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communicator who can simplify complexity and influence decisions.

Location Requirement

This is a remote role, but applicants must be based on the US East Coast for collaboration with core teams and leaders.
