Tax Technology Director, GTM

This is a subject matter expert role that sits alongside sales, not underneath it. You bring the indirect tax credibility into the room, the account exec brings the deal process, and together you close. It’s commercial without being a quota-carrying sales job, and technical without being a back-office tax role.

Working at the intersection of indirect tax, tax technology and enterprise sales, you’ll help organisations understand how AI-powered tax automation, VAT/GST compliance and digital tax reporting can solve increasingly complex global compliance challenges.

Who actually gets through this process:

• Genuine VAT/GST or US sales tax depth. Direct tax or transfer pricing backgrounds don’t transfer here.
• You light up talking about being in the room with a customer, not just solving the technical problem in isolation.
• You can be thrown a question you don’t know the answer to and find a credible way through it live, rather than freezing.
• Some commercial exposure already: demos, workshops, sitting in on deals, even informally.

We’re deliberately not looking for a finished commercial product. Raw potential and outward-facing energy matter more than a polished sales CV. We’d rather teach the commercial side to someone with real tax depth than the other way round.
