Tax Operations Specialist

We’ve partnered with a fast-growing company looking for someone who can turn deep tax knowledge into real customer confidence.

You won’t be answering questions from a script. You’ll be the person customers actually want to talk to when a compliance question gets complicated, and a trusted internal voice when colleagues need a clear read on what a tax rule actually means in practice. Part SME, part translator, part problem-solver.

What you’ll do:

• Become the trusted tax voice customers turn to for compliance, filing and process questions
• Get close enough to the day-to-day to speak fluently about how everything actually works
• Support onboarding, so customers get things right from day one
• Turn customer pain points into real process improvements, working closely with colleagues across the business
• Build the documentation and playbooks that make complex tax simple for customers
• Step into strategic moments like new market launches and regulatory change

You’ll thrive if you:

• Bring 4+ years in tax operations, compliance, indirect tax or accounting operations
• Can explain a genuinely complicated tax concept so it actually lands, whoever you’re talking to
• Like being close to customers, not removed from them
• Move well across priorities without losing sharpness on detail
• Get energy from cross-team collaboration rather than working in a silo

Working at the intersection of indirect tax, customer success and tax technology, you’ll help customers navigate complex compliance and operational challenges while turning technical tax expertise into practical, scalable solutions.
