We have a great new opportunity for a Senior Bookkeeper to join a fast growing chartered accountancy firm in their offices in Brighton, East Sussex.

This a newly created post to assist the partners and managers cope with an influx of new work. The role will be a varied mix of bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT work, plus advising and supporting clients on a range of cloud based software packages. You will be working with a wide range of clients, and as the bookkeeping team grows there is scope to progress your career.

The ideal candidate for this role will:
  • Have previous experience of working with multiple clients in an accountancy practice environment
  • Be self motivated and capable of working with the minimum of supervision
  • Have experience of complex bookkeeping and management accounts work for clients in a range of sectors
  • Good working knowledge of cloud based software such as Xero
  • An accountancy qualification such as AAT would be great, but not essential
