A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a qualified Senior Accountant to join a well run and highly regarded accountancy firm in the Hailsham area, East Sussex.
In this really varied post you will be working closely with the partners of the firm to manage a growing portfolio of clients. This will include preparing and reviewing complex statutory accounts and corporate tax returns, audit, outsourced FC services, corporate finance work such as mergers and acquisitions, and providing systems and accountancy support and advice to a wide range of clients.
You will be working a part of a lively and highly skilled team, and gain exposure to an interesting range of work not usually associated with a provincial accountancy firm. There is plenty of scope for rapid career progression to director level in the longer term.
About you:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, maybe with a bit of PQE
- A background in general practice, ideally with some audit exposure
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Ambitious, organised, self motivated and and commercially aware
- Live within commuting distance of Hailsham
