Semi Senior Accountant

We are recruiting for a Semi Senior Accountant to work with a friendly accountancy firm in Hove.

A long established independent firm of chartered accountants are looking for a full time Accounts Semi-Senior to join their highly skilled team.

If you are currently working as a trainee accountant and want to develop your skills in a busy and varied general practice role this is a great opportunity. You will be preparing accounts and tax returns, assisting on audits and dealing with bookkeeping and management accounts. You will gain plenty of client exposure and be supported in studying for your professional qualification.

About You:

• Have current or recent experience in a UK accountancy firm and able to jump straight on board
• AAT/ACCA/ACA part qualified or an active studier would be advantageous but not essential
• Confident and experienced in preparing accounts for a varied portfolio of clients including companies and sole traders
• Able to work independently to time and budget constraints
• With strong technical knowledge and a good eye for detail, you’ll take pride in your work!
