We are recruiting for a Part Time Tax Assistant to join a small, well established chartered accountancy firm in Lewes, East Sussex.
In this new post, you will be supporting the team in providing a range of compliance services to a mixed portfolio of personal tax clients including data management, client communication, meeting deadlines and identifying tax efficiency opportunities.
The firm is busy and well established and has an interesting and varied client base. They are looking for a candidate who has already gained experience of personal tax work within an accountancy practice environment and who is now looking for a role where they can manage their own workload and work with minimal supervision. The role is part time, for around 15 to 20 hours per week. There is flexibility on how these hours are worked, and can be a mix of office based and home working.
About you:
- Experience of preparing UK self assessment tax returns
- ATT/AAT qualification would be great, but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, self motivated and good communication skills
- Live within commuting distance of Lewes
There is a competitive salary and benefits package on offer, plus plenty of flexibility. If you are looking for a part time tax assistant role with a friendly, supportive firm in Lewes we are keen to hear from you. Please get in touch with Claire Jones to discuss this and other jobs within accountancy practice across Sussex.
Harvey John is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. The salary bracket advertised is FTE, for guidance only. We are committed to continued improvement in terms of diversity and inclusion practices. Please get in touch with any questions concerning reasonable adjustments, accommodations, or diversity practices.
