Management Accountant

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join a team in London on a hybrid basis to start immediately temporarily, with the possibility of going permanent.

An opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a dynamic team making a significant difference in this vital role. You’ll support financial operations across UK and international programmes, working closely with teams in Africa and the UK. You’ll play a key part in driving financial accuracy, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and improving overall financial insight.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone actively studying towards an ACCA, CIMA or AAT qualification-or fully qualified-who wants to use their skills to contribute to something bigger.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records on an accruals basis
• Track restricted funding and prepare monthly Gift Aid claims
• Oversee purchase ledger and UK payment schedules
• Provide timely cash flow forecasts and management reports
• Support the budgeting and annual statutory accounts process
• Manage UK payroll and pension submissions
• Contribute to VAT registration preparations

Ideal Candidate:

• Currently studying towards (or holding) a ACCA, CIMA or AAT qualification
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• 2+ years’ experience in a finance team
• A proactive, collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Hybrid Working, 3 from Home
• 9am-5pm Working hours

Advantageous if you have experience with payroll, VAT, or foreign currency.
