Our client is hiring an Indirect Tax Transformation Lead to modernise and scale their indirect tax capabilities across the US. You’ll partner with enterprise stakeholders to drive adoption of digital tax solutions, improve processes, and deliver measurable value. Joining a fast-growing, energetic startup working with high-profile global tech clients, this is a newly created role with real influence.

What You’ll Do

• Lead implementation and adoption of indirect tax and VAT-led technology solutions.

• Recommend best-practice strategies to maximise usage, outcomes, and value.

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and executive sponsors across enterprise clients.

• Identify opportunities for growth through upsell and cross-sell pathways.

• Relay customer insights to product teams to shape future enhancements.

About You

• 5+ years in indirect tax, VAT, process improvement, or tax operations.

• Strong VAT knowledge (Sales & Use Tax a plus) and experience with tax or SaaS technology.

• Excellent communicator able to influence technical and non-technical teams.

• Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environments.

• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional results.

Nice to Have

• SaaS or scale-up experience

• Exposure to enterprise-level or high-profile tech clients

• Experience with API-first or digital tax solutions

Location

This role is hybrid and based in New York, NY.
