We’ve partnered with a fast-growing company that’s scaling its tax function fast, and needs someone to take real ownership of the filing process as it grows.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be handed a process and told to run it as-is. You’ll be filing across multiple jurisdictions from day one, with genuine input into how things get done and room to fix what’s not working. If you’ve ever sat in a tax function thinking “there has to be a better way to do this,” this is where you get to build it.
What you’ll do:
- Own filing accuracy and timeliness across multiple jurisdictions and frequencies
- Catch and resolve discrepancies before they become problems, through sharp reconciliation work
- Keep filing calendars and dependencies tight, even as volume climbs
- Help streamline and improve processes as the business scales
- Take on more of the filing book as the business scales, not as a reward but as the plan
You’ll thrive if you:
- Have 4+ years filing high volumes of returns across multiple jurisdictions, and actually enjoy the mechanics of it
- Treat reconciliations and controls as non-negotiable, not admin
- Communicate fast and clearly, because this team moves quickly and doesn’t wait
- Notice the small errors other people miss
- Want to shape a tax function, not just staff one
If you want ownership over how tax filing gets done rather than just doing it, this is a rare seat.
