We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Accountant to join our client located in East Sussex temporarily to cover maternity leave.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented professional to contribute to the financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes during a crucial period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Provide detailed variance analysis and financial insights to support business decisions
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide financial guidance
- Monitor key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as needed
About You:
- Proven experience as an FP&A Accountant or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Available to start in August and commit to 6 months as a minimum
- Hybrid working
