We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Accountant to join our client located in East Sussex temporarily to cover maternity leave.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented professional to contribute to the financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes during a crucial period.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
Provide detailed variance analysis and financial insights to support business decisions
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide financial guidance
Monitor key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement
Support the month-end and year-end close processes
Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as needed

About You:

Proven experience as an FP&A Accountant or similar role
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Available to start in August and commit to 6 months as a minimum
Hybrid working
