We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Financial Controller to join our client’s finance team in Pulborough.

The successful candidate will support the FD/CFO in all accounting and reporting duties and manage the up and coming audit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting: Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to the parent company, adhering to group instructions and timelines.
  • Procedure Development: Enhance internal procedures for month-end closings to ensure accuracy and timeliness, including handling accruals and tax reserves.
  • Advisory Role: Utilise deep knowledge of accounting principles and financial legislation to provide advisory support within the organisation.
  • Compliance: Ensure all accounting processes are in line with GAAP and current financial legislation.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data and prepare comprehensive reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties such as vendors and lenders.
  • Audit Management: Oversee communications and processes with auditors.
  • Statutory Reporting: Prepare annual financial statements and corporate tax returns.

Financial Analysis & Projections: Conduct profit and loss account analysis, balance sheet reviews, and cash flow projections.

The successful candidate will be:
  • A fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualified experience
  • Experince of having full responsibility for producing monthly accounts as well as quarterly and year-end reporting.
  • Able to start ASAP
