Financial Analyst – Hybrid | 8-10 month Fixed-Term

My client, a superb business based in the Gatwick area, are seeking a commercially minded Finance Analyst to join their team on an initial 8-10 month fixed-term basis.

There’s every chance that, for the perfect candidate, this role could be extended and even made permanent (though this isn’t a guarantee).

You will ideally be an active ACCA, ACA, CIMA studier- or, you will be a fully qualified.

While you will have a good, basic grasp of general accounting, you will be particularly passionate about commercial finance activities, such as…

• Preparing management accounts, including Variance Analysis
• KPI analysis
• Financial modelling/ scenario planning
• Budget setting and Forecasting
• Business Partnering with stakeholders

The ideal candidate for this role, will…

• Have at least some commercial finance experience (including the preparation of management accounts)
• Possess strong Excel skills, with the ability to design and implement tools
• Have a passion for the commercial side of finance (rather than technical accounting)
• Be studying towards an ACA, ACCA, CIMA or be fully qualified
• Be happy working in an initial fixed-term contract
• Be happy to start a new role from late January 2024

In return, the successful candidate will receive:
