The role itself would a strong “technical” accountant and someone with an eye for detail, who enjoys the number crunching and financial accounting side (rather than commercial).

The position would suit a nearly/ newly qualified accountant, looking to take their first step into industry, or someone who already has this experience but is now looking for a change of scenery.

This employer offer unrivalled flexibility in terms of hours and place of work, with most of the finance team working almost 100% remotely, but this doesn’t mean that you have to too and you are welcome to work from the office should you wish.

Your key duties within this role will include…

• Preparing financial statements
• Overseeing tax compliance
• Maintaining the fixed-asset register
• Bank Reconciliations
• General cash management/ Treasury work

The ideal candidate will…

• Have a passion for technical/ financial accounting (rather than commercial)
• Have experience of preparing financial statements
• Be very comfortable with Reconciliations and general Bookkeeping matters
• Be ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualified (or finalist level and actively studying)
