This is a support opportunity to work within a brilliant business in Central London, reporting into a dynamic CFO.

It would be a superb opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to step into a Finance Manager role and take “ownership” of the full accounting function.

You will need to be a real “problem solver”, analytically minded and happy to roll out changes when and where necessary.

My client is quite open to looking at candidates that are making a “first move” from an Audit/ Practice role, as well as perhaps Management Accountants that are now wanting a leadership position.

Key responsibilities from the off will include…

  • Preparing financial statements
  • Oversight of month-end duties
  • VAT Returns
  • Preparing Budgets and setting Forecasts
  • Handling of Purchase and Sales Ledger too

The ideal candidate will…

  • Be CIMA, ACCA, ACA fully qualified
  • Have a good breadth of accounting knowledge- gained via work in audit/practice and/or industry
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • The will to progress in the world of accounting
  • Have an eye for improving systems and processes (with demonstrable experience of this)
