This is a superb opportunity to join a growing, busy and ambitious business based near Reigate.

You will be a driven, enthusiastic leader, with strong experience in guiding, training and motivating a team of Billing and Collections experts.

Equally importantly, you will geared towards “continuous improvement” and be comfortable spearheading improvements to systems and processes throughout the AR team.

Therefore, your communication skills across the business, and within your team, need to be excellent.

Rather than a Manager, who likes to maintain what is already in place, this role would suit a dynamic individual, keen to analyse existing systems/ processes and make improvements.

Key responsibilities will include…

  • Heading up the wider Credit Control and Billing department (of 8 individuals)
  • Conducting regular 121s and appraisals with the team
  • Analysing existing processes and driving improvements to systems (particularly on the Billing side)
  • Setting KPIs
  • Communicating across the wider business, including sales and operations to be “visible” across the wider company

The ideal candidate, will…

  • Have strong leadership experience and will have led a team of 6+ Credit Control/ Accounts Receivable Specialists previously, including conducting appraisals
  • Have generally strong experience of end-to-end AR (including both Billing and Collections)
  • Have passion for driving improvements to systems and processes- you will particularly have experience of driving improvements to Billing systems
  • Superb communication skills- as, in this role, not only will you be leading your team, but you will also be liaising with a variety of stakeholders across the business (of all levels)
