Bookkeeper | Office-Based

This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper within a small business based near Gatwick.

In this role, though you will be given support from a Financial Controller, you will take ownership for all aspects of the “day to day” accounts function.

It would suit a qualified by experience or AAT qualified individual, who has a good, all round finance background and enjoys a varied accounting role.

You will be responsible for accounting transactions across a small group of companies, including…

• Overseeing Purchase Ledger
• Sales Ledger transactions
• Bank Reconciliations
• VAT Returns
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Assisting with management reporting

The ideal candidate will…

• Have at least 2-3 years’ varied finance experience
• Have strong Bookkeeping experience
• Have used Sage previously
• Drive and own a car
• Be comfortable working in an on-site setting
