Accounts Technician

A well established, friendly and growing accountancy firm based in lovely offices in the heart of Brighton are looking for an experienced Accounts Technician to join their highly skilled and happy team. If you have a strong background in professional practice and are now looking for a long term career move in a stable environment this could be the role for you.

This Accounts Technician position will provide plenty of variety, encompassing accounts preparation for mainly small limited companies, along with the associated corporate and personal tax. You will look after your own portfolio of clients, and work autonomously, but as part of a supportive team.

The firm prides themselves on providing outstanding customer service, and also on being a flexible and progressive employer. This role can be full or part time, and will be a mix of home and office based.

What we’re looking for:

• Extensive recent experience of preparing accounts in a UK accountancy practice/firm of accountants
• Ideally AAT qualified, or equivalent, but relevant experience is more important
• Good technical skills
• Hands on attitude, with strong customer focus
• Live within commuting distance of Brighton
