Accounts and Audit Semi Senior

We are recruiting for an experienced Accounts and Audit semi senior to join a friendly firm of accountants in the Eastbourne area.

This strong and established, multi sited independent firm of chartered accountants are looking for an Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior to join their Eastbourne office, East Sussex. They are an established training firm, you will be joining a lively team and be involved in all aspects of general practice work including statutory and management accounts preparation, corporate tax and VAT as well as assisting on audit assignments. You will be provided with all the support and training you need to develop your skills and progress through your professional qualification.

About You:

• Have current or recent experience in an accountancy firm and able to jump straight on board
• Ideally ACA/ACCA part qualified, AAT qualified or equivalent
• Confident and experienced in preparing accounts for a varied portfolio of clients including companies and sole traders. Audit experience would be great but not essential
• Able to work independently to time and budget constraints
• Good knowledge of a range of IT systems, experience of QuickBooks and Xero would be an advantage
