Accountant

I have partnered exclusively with this superb and ambitious business on the outskirts of Horsham.

They have brand new purpose-built offices and they are now in a position to recruit their first finance hire within the business.

You will be working closely with a sharp and dynamic Director and your role will be focused on day-to day accounting matters, inclusive of…

• Purchase/ Sales Ledger (inclusive of Credit Control)
• Bank Reconciliations
• VAT submissions
• Preparing Payroll figures
• Preparing monthly management accounts

This is a superb opportunity, which could suit either an experienced “stand alone” Finance Manager/ Accountant or a less experienced finance professional, with some experience and now looking to evolve within the company.

This said, the ideal candidate, WILL:

• Have at least 2-3 years’ varied finance experience, ideally gained within a small business
• Be a team player, confident in working closely with others
• Have used Xero previously
• Have a good understanding of accounting/ bookkeeping principles
• Have experience of management accounts (desired, not essential)
• Drive and own a car
