VAT Compliance Analyst

Here, you’ll be representing one of the world’s biggest and most recognised names. This is a blue-chip company whose logo is known practically everywhere, by practically everyone.

In a business that operates in over 200 countries (and employ over a half a million staff!) you’ll join a team of 14 European tax and finance specialists which, in turn, is part of a much broader global matrix. This alone will really bring to life the international focus of your role!

About the Role

Whilst your responsibility is to oversee the VAT compliance function across the businesses European entities, you’ll also be maximising this opportunity by working closely with experienced colleagues who know the business (and VAT issues) inside-out. What does this mean? Despite being a part of a global structure, you’ll be able to have that ‘small term’ and ‘close-knit’ experience by collaborating with and learning from senior team members.

And rest assured, you will not turn up on Day 1 to find yourself pigeon-holed to filing VAT returns for one or two countries. This is a true European VAT role. Instead, you’ll be trained to work across the entire European market, creating an excellent platform to go on and work on other international projects.

This role is open to re-locators across the EU with 1500 EUR relocation allowance.

About You

• Experience working in VAT (industry, professional services, or tax authorities) or financial accounting
• A working knowledge of multijurisdictional VAT compliance (ie. preparing returns, intrastat, and ECSL)
