Salary £45,000-50,000 + 20% annual bonus + private medical + 10-16% employer pension
Our client is a highly prominent reinsurance provider in the Lloyds market. They’re currently seeking a Reporting Accountant to join their expanding reporting team in a pivotal role which reports directly to the Senior Reporting Accountant and Head of Finance.
The role would suit an active ACA / ACCA studier who is highly career-focused and has existing statutory reporting experience. Training can be provided to get this individual to the level required to fulfil the entire role.

Overview of the role:
- Preparation of Solvency II Pillar III quarterly and annual quantitative reporting templates for all regulated entities, Syndicates and the regulated group
- Preparation of quarterly and ad hoc Standard Formula calculations for all regulated entities, the regulated group and potential acquisition opportunities
- Contribute to the development of, and ongoing improvements in, all Solvency II reporting
- Maintenance and updating of Solvency II Data Repository to support all reporting requirements
- Liaise with auditors to achieve effective sign-off of Solvency II submissions
- Maintain appropriate regulatory reporting and capital reporting process manuals and procedure notes
- Contribute to completion of ORSAs, RSR and SFCRs for all regulated entities, the regulated group and potential acquisition opportunities
- Proactively review regulatory requirements, keeping up to date with developments in requirements issued by EIOPA, the PRA and Lloyd’s
- Perform validation work and analytical review on investment and cash data
- Preparation and submission of syndicate GQD and TPD returns
- Preparation of Solvency II sections of certain Board Reports
- Provide assistance and support for any statutory UK GAAP Reporting activities as requested or required
