We are seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our client’s friendly and fast-paced team based in Lewes. This is a part-time role working 3 days per week, with the working hours of 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. for the first few weeks of training. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing purchase invoices and ensuring accurate ledger entries
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Supporting the finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Assisting with payment runs and liaising with suppliers

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in purchase ledger or a similar finance role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Confident user in Excel
