Practice Bookkeeper

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a new career opportunity in East Sussex? We are currently working with a well established, friendly and flexible firm to recruit a Bookkeeper for their busy team in Brighton.

In this varied role you will be looking after a portfolio of clients, preparing bookkeeping, VAT returns and some management accounts. You will also advise clients on procedures and provide advice and support to clients on cloud based software.

You will be working as part of a well established and friendly team, and will enjoy a flexible and supportive work environment.

What we are looking for:

• Experience of bookkeeping for multiple clients in an accountancy firm environment
• Knowledge of cloud based software such as Xero
• Organised, self motivated, can use initiative
• AAT qualification would be great, but relevant experience is more important
