Are you looking for a rewarding and challenging career in payroll? Do you have experience in managing multiple payrolls for small businesses and sole traders? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are working with a small but friendly local accountancy practice based in Portsmouth who are currently looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team. You’ll be responsible for a portfolio of clients, ensuring their payrolls are accurate and filed on time each month. You have a keen understanding of tax compliance and employment legislation and enjoy working closely with your clients and colleagues. You could be joining a growing team already in place, including a Payroll Manager and Payroll Administrator.

About you:
  • Experience working in bureau payroll or accountancy practice
  • A good knowledge of payroll software, such as Sage, Brightpay and Xero
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
