Part Time Accounts Assistant

We are working with a growing chartered accountancy firm in the Brighton area to recruit an experienced part time Accounts Assistant.

This modern, friendly and fast growing accountancy firm based in Brighton, East Sussex, are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy team. If you have a background in professional practice and are now looking for a long term career move in a flexible environment this could be the role for you.

This position will provide plenty of variety, encompassing accounts preparation, corporate and personal tax, payroll,VAT and bookkeeping.
You will be joining an established and highly skilled team, and will enjoy genuine flexibility and support to develop your skills.

What we’re looking for:

• Recent experience in an accountancy practice/firm of accountants
• You will be confident in preparing accounts and have some payroll knowledge
• Experience working with cloud based accountancy software
• Hands on attitude, with strong customer focus

The role is for around of 20-25 hours per week, part of which may be working from home.
