A well-established and growing Accountancy Practice based in Southampton is seeking the next Xero whizz to join their large team. This role is an integral part of their business working alongside their financial accounts team offering the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing essential bookkeeping and outsourcing services.

As a senior member of their team, you will be responsible for managing the bookkeeping process, ensuring adherence to deadlines and delivering high-quality work. Your attention to detail and accuracy will be crucial in maintaining precise financial records, and you will assist in the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.

In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to support clients through regular visits, establishing strong relationships, addressing queries, and providing ongoing assistance. Your expertise and knowledge of Xero software will also be valuable in software migration projects, assisting clients in transitioning smoothly to the platform.

About you:

• Previous experience in bookkeeping and outsourcing roles, ideally within an Accountancy Practice.
• Proficient in using Xero software with a good understanding of its features and functionalities
• AAT qualification or equivalent would be highly desirable.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive and supportive attitude, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
