Management Accountant, East Sussex – Kent border, £45,000 – £52,000

Harvey John are pleased to be partnered with a growing business on the East Sussex – Kent border on a newly created position as Management Accountant.

This role will offer the opportunity to gain fantastic exposure to the financial, accounting and tax affairs of a hugely successful venture, spanning across multiple countries.

The position has been created to accommodate the impressive growth that the business has achieved in recent years, both organically and via acquisition.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will benefit from their 20+ years of experience in the industry, assisting with the monthly management accounting for the group, year-end annual accounting, VAT compliance, forecasting and budgeting, overseeing the accurate recording of all transactions and more.

To succeed in this role, you will either be part-qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or QBE and have strong experience in management accounting and sound knowledge of financial accounting best practices and processes. Being a confident user of Excel and having experience of the more advanced formulas and functions would be beneficial.

Prior experience of budgeting and forecasting is not required, however the enthusiasm to learn and a willingness to pro-actively support the business in providing financial analysis and data is key.
