If so, here’s your chance to dust yourself off and get stuck into the fast paced world of a global investment company who’s looking for an Indirect Tax Associate, based in their Edinburgh office, to oversee their corporate VAT affairs.

The role

Reporting directly to the Global Head of Tax, this role will see you working as part of a small international tax team to fully oversee their corporate VAT affairs.

Your day to day duties will inevitably involve some compliance tasks, but the main scope of your role will be to collaborate with the team on a variety of complex projects.

You’ll also have plenty of opportunity for client interaction as well, which is great if you’re looking to expand your advisory skills.

The future

Progression is a reality here. Both Heads of Tax joined the firm at Analyst / Associate level, before rising to their current, senior positions.

About you

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in finance and/or accounting
• CTA/ATT/CA/ACA qualified or part-qualified, or equivalent preferred
• And ideally you’ll have experience of working in VAT or GST, but it’s not essential
