Generally, the clients you’ll be working with will have backgrounds in areas such as retail, investment banking, insurance, fund management, commodity trading and asset finance sectors. You’ll be consulting on a wide variety of VAT issues/queries within these sectors and you’ll also refine your knowledge of IPT (insurance premium tax) as and when it becomes relevant.
