Financial Controller | Future FD Potential

This is a truly unique and newly created opportunity to join a growing and ambitious business.

For the right person, this role has the opportunity to evolve into a Finance Director post within the not-too-distant future.

Initially you will be joining an existing Finance Manager to focus on all things management accounts, but, overtime you will have full jurisdiction for the finance department- so once you are overseeing them, you will have 3 direct reports but this is likely grow in time as the company are looking to further expand in the next couple of years.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing management accounts and associated commentary
• Overseeing the running of Payroll
• Cash flow forecasting
• Multi-currency transactions
• Preparing Budgets and Forecasts for company-wide meetings
• Tax compliance

The successful candidate for this role WILL:

• Have experience of preparing management accounts for circa £15 million turnover companies
• Possess knowledge in all of the above processes
• Be happy being hands-on but equally comfortable with more complex accounting matters
• Be ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified- this is highly desirable- though, please note, that exceptional “qualified By experience” candidates, will also be considered for this role
• Have the drive and ambition to be a Finance Director in time (desirable)
