A highly ambitious and entrepreneurial privately owned business based in Chichester is currently seeking a similarly ambitious, and highly commercially astute, individual to join their organisation as Financial Controller. Several impressive years of expansion means that this individual will be joining at a very exciting time and play a key role in their plans to double turnover by 2027.

This is a newly created growth-driven position within the company. This individual will report to an ACCA qualified Finance Director as his deputy, managing 2 more junior finance staff (Management Accountant and Accounts Assistant).They foresee this role developing to Finance Director itself and want someone who is keen to progress their career to that level. Duties:

• Reporting directly to the Finance Director you will control the day-to-day transactional activities of the finance department.
• This will include the management of two members of the finance team, and review of their work.
• Production and review of monthly management accounts.
• Management of the company cash flow.
• Management of import finance and foreign currency transactions/derivatives.
• Review and authorisation of payments.
• Review of weekly and monthly payroll.
• Project work to assist the FD with process improvement, revenue generation and cost reduction.

Candidate Requirements:

• Part or fully qualified Accountant.
• A dynamic, driven individual who communicates professionally and confidently at all levels.
