A highly ambitious international retail business is seeking a qualified Financial Controller to join them in a newly created senior role. Reporting directly to an experienced Finance Director, this individual will manage a team of 2 and oversee the day-to-day operations of the department. They will take ownership of management reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, providing valuable insight and control to influence SMT decisions. Alongside this, they will support the FD in strategic planning and business partnering activities as the organisation embarks on an exciting new phase of international expansion.

Our client is focusing their expansion efforts on the German market, therefore there is a requirement for this individual to be fluent in German.
