Part-Time Finance Director / CFO | PE-Backed | High-Tech Manufacturing | Portsmouth, Hampshire

A high-tech, PE-backed manufacturing and technology business is seeking a qualified Finance Director or CFO to partner with the founders and investors as they continue their business journey. This is a part time role working two days per week based on-site in Portsmouth with the potential for the role to grow as the company continues to grow.

• Partner with the main board and investors to shape and deliver financial, commercial and operational strategy
• Oversee the outsourced finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, robust systems, and strong working capital management
• Provide commercial insight, analytics and modelling to support value creation
• Promote efficiency, consistency and collaboration across the organisation

The Person:

• Experienced PE-backed FD/CFO with a proven track record in high-growth environments
• Qualified with a background in manufacturing or related sectors
• Strong technical skills across reporting, controls and cash management
• Commercially focused, hands-on business partner with excellent stakeholder management experience
• Collaborative, proactive and high-integrity leader with strong communication skills
